A LFS offered me this skimmer for 75$

Looking to kick start a sump system on my 75g tank... went to a LFS and saw this skimmer.
Is this worth it for 75$?
I know it’s missing some parts, he said like a pump and stuff.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it, missing parts is one thing, you may or may not be able to get the parts, and you can buy a new skimmer for 200 dollars that comes with a warranty and it hasn't been in anyone else's tank.

Pass, the pump and the body are the most expensive parts on the skimmer. Have you looked up the price of the replacement pump?

Pickup a simplicity skimmer for $200, comes with a DC pump so it's quieter and most likely better than this skimmer
