A little confusion

So.. I've had my tank running for around two weeks. I've bought a few pieces of coral .. leather and flowerpots. I'm wondering if these will survive. I've been told by the guys at the local shop that there's no chance they will survive, but heard from many other sources that they should be fine..

If they are in danger how can I help oritecp them from doom.

The leather may be ok but the flower pot most likely not.. not much you can do, it’s a time thing and 2 weeks is just to early for corals of any type

Your tank is still cycling nothing should of been in the tank .

Just remember, nothing good happens fast in a Reef tank. Take your time!!!!! Don’t be in a hurry to stock your tank.
