A little death....should I frag it?

Picked up this yellow gonipora?..it has a couple spots with some death on it.

Wondering if I should frag this up and cut away the dead parts?

When did you get it, was the death there?

I would watch it for a day or 2 if it spreads then I would get out the dremel.... If it doesn't, then well, leave it alone.

It was like that when I got it Yes.

The right and left area seem fine(looks like old death).....the top area did slough off a little when I blew at it with a baster.

Maybe I should just cut that top part off for now?

Ya, I would cut just like the outline in your image, about 1/4" back from the dead area.

Gonis are notorious for Brown Jelly Disease. Worse is it travels very quick once it starts. Be careful the goo does not get on anything around it!
