I'm upset because I already think I know my answer. My 24k Gold Torch I got from Calikid Corals about a week ago I think is dying off. It sucks, maybe I didn't notice when I got it if it had damage to the skeleton from shipping, but it expanded a little but continues to receed. I'm nit sure if a dip will help anyhthing but it's pretty pulled in the not much on the right side of the coral. I can't complain about Cali's corlas at all, everything that I've got has bren packaged great. and they have been great to deal with. It just sucks when you have a big investment die off quickly. All my other torches are fine.

I empathize with your potential loss and pain. The coral may recover, may not. We recently had a fairly expensive golden hammer full polyp bail out, and really had no explanation. I don't have any excellent advice here, but just sharing the pain of the hobby with you so-to-speak.

Very sorry for your possible loss. Even the best torch specimens can just tap out. They are definitely some of the touchiest of the euphyllia camp.

Did you send them these pics and address the issue with them?
For now, I would place in an area with lower flow and allow it to stay attached. Will it all grow back - That is to be seen.

It’s a gamble I lost mine last week. Looked unhealthy when I got it but figured it was stress from shipping. Three days later it had brown jelly and died.

That's the problem with these aussie torches, I'm sure cali didn't have it very long and just made a quick flip. I love cali kid and buy a lot from them, but all these (ultra) frags are just chop shop flip no name wild stuff. They have their signature stuff but also have ways to make a quick buck.
