Thank you for allowing me to join the community. I hope there is not a limit on your first post. A little background about me and this hobby. Between 1996 and 2000 I had 10 aquariums living in California. 7 freshwater and 3 saltwater. Breeding pair of discus and angelfish in the freshwater tanks. 55 gallon saltwater tank and a couple of smaller ones. Undergravel filter in the 55g with crushed coral and fish that i would not put in a 55g today lol. Back then nobody knew different. Due to family issues i had to get rid of all those tanks. Fast forward to 2012. Moved to New York. Recieved a 10 gallon tank for christmas and had freshwater fish. 6 months later no heat everything died. 5 years ago i got a 45 gallon tank from my son. I made that into a saltwater tank. Heater busted lost everything. Fast forward to 3 years ago. Took the empty 10 gallon and made a saltwater tank. Had a couple of clownfish. Both got stuck to my powerhead, green chromis got stuck under a rock. Tailspot was doing good. Last year I upgraded to a 29 gallon. Tank was doing great until an ice storm in February wiped out everything. I neglected mythe 29g for 3 months. It got ugly of course. Added a cuc in May. Started adding fish in June. A week after adding fish my royal gramma developed ich. I removed all the fish back to qt. So here I am again with a fishless tank. A week in to running temp at 86 to hopefully get rid of ich. All of my inverts are doing fine at that temp. So that is my story. Sorry for being so long.

Welcome to R2R and back to the salty world. Sad when so much goes wrong. Hopefully better results going forward. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
Thank you. Deinitely moving forward. I belong to a few fb groups but most of those people are just keyboard trolls. There are some very knowledgeable people in those groups tho. Thought i would come to where the experts are.
