Ok, a lot off topic but it’s a chemestry question. Friday I had a Li-ion battery ignight in my pocket, shot off like a rocket and ended me up in regional burn center ICU. I’m on the road to recovery but I am interested in what it is that causes those batteries to go nuclear like that.
I will tell you this, it is amazing the amount of damage it did in just fractions of a second and considering that most of the energy was dispersed away from me, just how many calories were discharged.
