A lot of microbubbles, new skimmer

I have a 32.5 gallon fluval flex, I got the icecap k1 nano skimmer last week( wednesday) and Its in the middle chamber same as my return pump, no where else to put the skimmer but will the microbubbles subside or is there something I can do? also not sure microbubbles are safe for fish/inverts. Thanks

Turn unit down to low setting and assure water level in sump not too high
