A lot of serpent starfish

Hi there,

I have a 32 Biocube, that i just moved all my rock and anemones into, it is a clown/anemone tank. After moving the rocks over etc, I noticed i probably have at least 50 of these serpent starfish. Should I be concerned?

Most likely not. Are you sure they are not brittle stars? Unusual to get serpents as hitch hikers, especially that many of them. Micro brittle stars are great hitch hikers to have! Post a picture if you can and we'll see if we can ID them.

hitchhiker starfish are usually always a good thing =) usually micro brittle stars are less than an inch and they are striped. serpents will get bigger pretty quickly and be very smooth looking. it would be very very unusual for you to have a bunch of serpent stars. micro brittle stars are pretty common and a good thing =)
