Found this in my side sump. Kinda cool...but is it?

It's only about the size of an eraser head. This part of the tank often had a substantial amount of detritus. I've since put in a powerhead to keep it all moving down to the sump.

Any ideas what this is? Should I be concerned? If it's cool...can it be propagated?

Kinda looks like a majano nem.

Need to see the oral disk.

Im thinking Ball anemone in which a majano is not ruled out.
Agree that a top down view would be helpful in determining.

Looks kinda like a ball anemone to me, which I just learned isn't really an anemone but is a very similar creature. I have a couple in my tank that came on live rock, they have never been an issue (for over 3 years). They only open in the dark so it makes sense you would see it in your sump. This thread has more info on them if you wanted to cross reference yours with other images: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/ball-anemone.768999/
