So, about a month in with the SB reef 30" elite. I still love it after coming from a maxspect. I did bleach a few items starting it at 30, and 50%, but bumped it down to 20, and 40, and at that it's holding color on acros from an estaished t5 tank after close to a month. I'm getting growth on acros length wise, as well as entrusting. I couldn't be any happier with it.

Man that tank looks good!

Your sump looks so cool too. You got a better picture of it?

Sb lights are awesome . I'm currently running 2 of them . Nice looking tank also

I run whites from 10am to 7pm, blues from 9 to 1030, and moon lights an hour on either end, and all at varying intensities with the ramping timer.

Has anyone thought about having an aclimation program? I am looking at getting the 32 wifi and thought it would be nice to have an additional program for aclimating new corals especially if picking up several new corals at one time.

Yea I have something like you're speaking of. I have one program set at a third of the regular power. A second one set at two thirds power. Then I am going to make one at my preferred max power and that will be the final program. Just have been too lazy to program it in lol

That's a great idea
Now of course the intensities of the lights depends on your tank and preference but, this is how my schedule is right now. I was dividing it into thirds based on this chart. The chart displayed will be my third and final program after the first two acclimation programs.

You could also add more points instead of just ten but I feel ten is fine for me and it kind of takes awhile to program those ten I did to begin with lol

What is nice about the wifi app is you can have several programs saved at all times. Add a new coral, one click and you are on a 30% reduced ramp schedule, a week later, one click and back to normal. You can also take your phone to a buddies house and upload your programs.

Zane, thanks so much for your support. I wish folks could see your old tank prior to your house move where you downsized and lost a couple things. It was a stellar packed SPS tank.
