A mystery critter after 8 months??

So after 8 months you'd think you'd have seen everything that was gonna pop up by now. Honestly have no idea what I'm looking at here. I'd estimate right now it's the size of a 50 cent piece or larger even. He's so well camouflaged I just noticed him today!

I kinda think so too. But I’ve found things pretty big for the first time after 6-7 months. It’s weird to think it grows up so much and I never saw it
