A new approach to reef tank lighting???

I run Red Sea 90 . They are great and are very programable. I’m getting the correct par that is need.

Old thread but why is everyone trying to get the person using the floodlights to buy name brand lights?
Am I the only one interested in how their lighting set up actually works for corals?

I ran a 20w 10k and 50w purple plant flood led lights over an algae box in my sump. Corals that got the spill over light from there actually seemed to grow towards them. That's sps,lps and zoa!
