Hi all,
It has been some time I could not update my status, some of you might have read my previous tank "tank at my balcony". We decided to move out which ended up creating two new tanks (like mitosis) my old tank is now two new tanks. I will describe both separately this one is my new tank in my new house. The idea was to set this tank so that I can move everything in without losing too much during transfer. But the tank and few other things got delayed so I had to move most living organism to a much larger tank that I was planing to install at my University. So here it goes:
First thing first I was interested in aluminum frames for some time and decided to build one for myself. At first I thought this would be cheaper then purchasing it but I was wrong :) Start with planing of course but the plan changed so many times so I am not sharing the plan but here are some pictures during the build:

It took some time to have the tank

After some wait we agreed with one of the best known aquarium builders in Turkey. The problem was he was in a different city and transport was a pain. Especially the part we took it downstairs in the house. Anyways it was in and placed on the stand and the stand hold it :)

Then we did some pipe installation I would have chose much larger pipes if it was me but did not interrupt, I still think larger pipes would have been better.

I used most of the old equipment for the tank, had a Tunze wave box 6215 and few other wavemakers from Jebao WP40 etc.
Light is Giesseman 8x80w T5, return pump is 6000 lt/hr NewJet 6000, Skimmer is Bubble king mini 200, and of course the dimensions are 140x80x50h, 500w heater some other equipment from the old tank. I also transfer some live rock from the old tank but still waiting for the corals

Very cool, I wish I was handy!

I love the aquascape work in the last photo!

I know you have to be a scientific academic because the only time I've seen those aluminium frames is when I worked at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, We'd build countless machines using that framework. You can literally build anything using that stuff.

Just did some tests the kh was little low but rest seams OK add few cleaning crew but can't find the snails they all hide somewhere.

First fishes are added today, had two Bicolor damselfish (Stegastes partitus), one algae eater blenny (Salarias fasciatus), and a fox face (Siganus vulpinus) hoping that it will eat the bubble algae I had on the old rocks.

Tank and pictures look awesome, thanks for sharing them:)

Looks great, and I absolutely love the rock work. Nice job.

Here is the newest addition to the tank. I didn't had much luck with Chelmon before, but this time I have some plans Any advice would be welcomed.

You're very brave to run such a large wave in your tank :) New setup looks great.
Don't have the wave set to this setting anymore, it was just to test I actually got rid of the box just using the pump now, the box was occupying too much space.

Getting to know the other fish friends Chelmon is doing OK so far. Hoping it will eat the frozen food and artemia that I am hatching for it.
