I remember mounting mine per a brs video on spacing and height. They are 12" to center from each side and 12.5" off the water surface.

I have never felt like I needed more light.

There are a couple of 425 on a facebook group running 4 Hydra 32.
I placed them 12" from both sides and 12" off+ water
