A new member and a Tang Question :)

Hi Guys, iam Sebastian from Germany .
I just 2 years in the Hobby - its great so far.

Iam running currently a 48x15x15 (120x40x40) LPS tank but maybe i wanna upgrade on a larger shallow reef lps tank end of this year.

What u guys think - can i keep a Tomini Doc in a shallow reef 64x22 and 14 high? (160x55x35).
The rockwork will be little bit minimalistic style so it will have plenty of swimming room.

Tomini will be fine in those dimensions. Don't pile the sand too high

Haha yes , the Sand will be just 1- 2cm

For a tang, the 4" extra length is better I think

Tomini tangs are one of the only ones that don’t require at least 6’ of tank. You should be fine having it in the 48” tank. Any bigger than that is just a bonus

I have one. It has stayed smaller and mostly hangs out near the bottom of the tank.
I think it would be fine.
