a new problem

ok so my pygmy wrasse is now in the tank and everything but my problem is that it won’t eat but it will eat pods off the rock is there a way i should present the food to it in a certain way to get it to eat

Don't turn off flow. Leave it on so it can chase food. That being said it may take a while to adjust to frozen

Add more pods and live brine shrimp if you can. Once eating live brine, you can switch to frozen brine then eventually mysis and LRS fish frenzy diet

I have gotten pipefish onto frozen by mixing live pods and frozen during feeding with pumps on to simulate movement and then they just end up accidentally eating the dead ones and then eventually get used to only frozen.
Any pics of the little guy? I’ve always wanted one!

ok the flow was off for a while though because i was spot feeding my corals

Cool! Looks like it’s just huntin, I’m sure he will perk up to feeds when he runs lower on free food.
Do you add selcon or vitamin to the food? Sometimes I think the fish get used to the smell and drives then into a feeding mode or something, could try that to entice it a bit too if you don’t already.

i have selcon and i use rods food which supposedly has selcon in it and yea i think he’s getting used to the tank now he was hiding for the first half hour he was in there
