A newbie question about Zoa

I got a small rock colony of zoa and I placed it in my tank, there is no way my lighting will cover entire rock evenly so I wonder those zoa that in a shade receiving less light will move out and goes to new spot with better lighting?

Not sure if they'll move, maybe stretch or actually get bigger polyps. Maybe. I'd let them acclimate and see what they do.
