Do Led light fixtures have a life span?

Should they replaced after 2 or 3 years?

Should you avoid buying a used LED light over a couple years old?

I'm new to this and still trying to figure it out

thank you

I just purchased a 2 year old Radion with no hesitation.

I think over time the diodes with decrease by a few percentage points but probably not enough to make a major difference.

I'm no LED expert but I would guess 5 years before you start to see them dropping off.

I'd like to hear more chime in on this though!

I just purchased a used led fixture I think more of the controllers that program the lights have more issues than the led lights going out. Yes I do think that over time the lights will lose its intensity. That's why I have read about people with led's don't run them 100% saving the lights over time.

not sure if they lose intensity, would be an interesting experiment. However LED's average a 50,000 Hour life span and because they are Diodes it all depends on the voltage. If you loose any intensity it's most likely attributed to the driver or controller. Basically if it turns on, its good to go my friend
