I like it when the pumps are all off and the water is still.

How did you get those mangroves to grow so well? I put mine in and they all died within the first 2 weeks... Im thinking they were initially grown in low spec grav water and they had some osmotic shock. You must PM me for pointers haha. Awesome tank!!! I love showcasing gear and sumps, I think they are an awesome aspect to any tank.

Mine lost all the leaves when I first got them, but I've heard the key to growing them in saltwater is to mist them a couple of times a day with rodi water to keep the salt build up off the leaves, so thats what I do, and they've all grown leaves back now. Thanks for the nice words.

Zane, thats a great setup there. Can you please explain the compartments of your Sump. Would be of great help.

Sure man. The first section is for the drain, skimmer, and reactor. The second is just full of rubble, and a small frag rack. I have a few rbta's in there, just a place to throw whatever. The third is full of cheato, with the return pump being on the other side of the sponge divider. It's really nothing fancy, just simple, and I'm positive there are better ways to do it, but it works OK.

LED's on the mangroves? Thx
Yes. It's a full spec china box that I just don't turn the blue channel on. It does OK, but a much lower spec would be better for the mangroves. I use this, because I keep some coral and nems in the sump sometimes, and need a light that will support that stuff too. If you're doing mangroves only, or that and macros, you'd be better off with a 6500 cfl.
