So maybe a month ago I asked all you reefers out there for some advice. My tank wasn’t flourishing. Anything I put into my tank melted away. After listing my parameters and stating I was using api tests, the main concern was that those tests were awful. After upgrading to Salifert and trying my hardest to stabilize everything, I’m seeing inprovements! Also took the advice on an icp test which shed some light on what I already thought was a culprit. I had practically refilled my tank after my move with horribly dirty ro filters, leading to a massive flood of silicates and other hazards.
Here are some updated pics.

I was probably doing close to the same thing. After I rebooted my tank late last summer and my horrible hair algae outbreak had already started, I changed my RO filters and I remember one of them was really nasty. Your tank is looking good!
