Is it possible that nitrosomous bacteria where the first life on earth?

The first lifeforms on earth where likely bacteria that consumed chemicals from deep sea vents. These are inorganic chemicals that the bacteria would process in chemosynthesis.

That is a good argument but I think nitrogen would be used first since it is so abundant on earth

Kinda hard to know. We know for sure that the first lifeforms did not utilize photosynthesis though

Cyano bacteria is considerd the first life form I believe.
It's why we look for evidence of it on planets and comets.
It's evolution and later development of both stony skeletons and photosynthesis both paved the way for development of eyes, and bone building and pushed oxygen into the planets atmosphere allowing a huge bloom of life as oxygen is easier to use.

No wonder its so tough. At least I dont get any in my tank, only diatoms it seems.
