A reef on the 10th floor - Feeding time

The overfeeding is intentional as I am trying to entice my new Chaetodon flavirostris to eat other foods other than my corals. Also recently purchased a Coradion altivelis and a couple of days later was already eating my usual blend like a pig.

Thank you so much! The video was recorded with a mobile phone camera, Filmic Pro app and Post Processing in Adobe Premiere Pro. The Marginalis and the Hi Fin butterflyfish are reef safe IMO. The Dusky Butterflyfish is not reef safe and is nipping on Polyps. I think my tank can handle the damage, the Dusky is still on probation! lol

Thank you so much. I remember reading in books how the Picasso triggerfish behaves like a dog, biting wires and so. I have tried a few triigerfish and IMO the Picasso triggerfish is one of the least aggressive triggerfish.
This one has been in my tank at least for the past three years and never displayed any aggression towards tank mates. I had another one several years ago, died during a tank crash and it was as well behaved as this one. My advice is to buy one as small as possible, they don't grow fast. Also they like nothing on the sand, if you have corals placed on the sand they will carry sand in their mouth and blow it until they cover the corals with it.

And I assume you don't have much in the way of inverts? I noticed an urchin in the video, and know that they will get into urchins in the wild but maybe not in a tank if well fed.

Huma Triggers might be my fave fish and I really miss keeping them in my early days. Your tank has me thinking about them again. Doesn't take much to tempt me

They are on rocks and have small rocks glued to protect the base of the clams but because of my very large Red Coris that killed one clam two years ago by attacking the clam's base. Also I flagged some montiporas tha I hope in time will surround the clams to shield them from any Red coris attack.
