Lol so my Royal gamma found new hiding spot today. I was putting frags on my frag rack and I saw something blue poke out of one of the posts. I went for a closer look, and noticed it was my RG lol. So I went to put a frag right next to him and he tried to bite me. I guess he's the frag watcher. Here's some pics :D

Sounds like your RG has claimed your frags as his/her own.

I love grammas. When I go diving they all have their own little nook and hate when others go near them. Bought mine when he was an inch and hes now over 3 inches. I have a war coral attached to a rock making a perfect nook for him and he just pokes his head out like that all day and if his arch nemesis the clown goby gets to close, he intimidates the little guy with his huge mouth, or at least tries :)

I live my rg, he spends his day terrorizing my yellowtail damsel with his best friends, my snowflake clown pair. He hasn't bit me yet, but the female clown tries to everytime I put my hand in the tank.

I love the Royal Gramma, I had one for a bit and he/she lived in a small tunnel upside down and would dart out to whomever dared come near it's dwelling. It would also terrorize passing hermits and knock them off rocks. It disappeared whilst I was on vacation unfortunately and my fiancee decided she wanted to put her dottyback in my tank when we got back to make up for it.

Rather have the RG though... It's just not the same.
