Maybe if less people didn't accept 'bad' service the real world would be better. BUT - in case you didn't notice - the OP was asked in the form of a question. I'm going to forward this thread to the vendor via PM when done. So they can view it - and decide what they want to do (if anything) about it.

I think normal protocol would be to check with the vendor before making the purchase for price matching.
