A simple man,s 90 gal mixed reef tank

This is my 90 gallon reef experiment.
Purpose of creating this thread is to "hopefully" document a simple approach to reefing.
I have failed in the past by trying to maintain an unrealistic schedule.
At the moment I'm dosing 30ml diy All for Reef 24 hrs and 150 ml kalk at night for ph balance.
I also carbon dose with bacto balance daily. Water change monthly 20%.

What is 'unrealistic schedule'. from pictures I assume you are maintaining aquarium quite well, looks great

Unrealistic schedule is a very specific to each person but for me it means being able to go on vacation or out of time for a week or so while my mom or someone of equal knowledge of reefing = 0 , maintains the tank. Thanks for the kind words gratitude always!

Added a few new corals, and rearranged.
P04 was .11 so I cleaned a bit and did a 20% wc. I’m not running gfo only carbon doseing to reduce nutrients so slow and steady. Probably still feeding too much. I am lighting my sump and growing some of the hardy corals at night to balance ph swing, along with skimming and pumping micro bubbles to the display to increase oxygen at night. The thought is by adding all these things together it helps to keep ph up at night.

I’m using an old to-go container for the DIY all for reef and kalk is mixed and siphoned into milk jugs until used. Coral and macro are lit by an AI Prime in sump.
