Man my tank would be so packed if I could go get what ever I could carry.
 
Hi, I'm Azumi from RC and I'm the other guy that goes out with Lewy collecting on the reefs around where we live, actually Lewy is the one taking the photos and I'm usually the one holding things up for the camera (you see alot of my hands and feet). What the photos show is only a fraction of what we see out on the reef, we have stumbled into patches of toxic green hammers and lobo's which we didn't get a chance to take a picture of, but hopefully we will this year.

Anyway, the low tides we go out on to collect have finished and now they are reverting to night time lows, usually 12am-3am for the low, so we might head out and have a look around, not much to see in the way of coral, only because it's so dark out there, but plenty of things to see in the way of fish and inverts, blue ringed octopus's are common as well as epaulette shark's and butterflys.

Well I hope everyone enjoy's the pictures and I hope to post some up on here on our next trip out.

I love that thread...I was a bit sad to find out that there is no more day time low tides for some more pics. Oh well, on with the night pics ;)

Whats the deal with the Blue Ring Octos? It doesnt scare you guys that they are out there in the dark?

Great thread and thanks for sharing with us......Welcome to R2R as well.
 
I hope to get down that way soon! Love the pics. I spent about 3 weeks in Guam last year and the reefs there were AMAZING!! I have a few pics but they were with a crappy underwater disposeable so I don't like to post them. Got to see ALOT of damselfish, Moorish Idols and Maxima clams just to name a few things. I am supposed to spend a few months in Hawaii this year and will buy a underwater digital camera to share.
