Got a few nice pics today while at the Zoo with my daughter.

Unfortunately weather and the animals weren't overly cooperative.

However, the few I got, I think were pretty good.

Used my D300 as always...

Lens was the Nikon 18-200 VR...

The lens is junk IMO...great utility lens, but not even close to the sharpness of pro glass like the 70-200....hopefully that will be my next lens...

Great photos! I have a low grade lens and it take great photos outdoors but horrible otherwise. Looks like that lens done an awesome job outdoors.

they look good until you put a pro glass shot next to them.

I got spoiled with my Nikon 105mm VR.

yeah, its up his nose. I was excited i caught the tongue out, I almost spit my mountain dew all over my mac when i saw where it was!

The other thing is at 200mm its an f 6.5 or something like that...

with the 70-200, its 2.8 all the way out...which makes for WAY more attractive back drops....mine are all in focus, which i hate...

But, im always overly critical of my own work.
