I'm still seeing these spicules around the rockwork. Any idea? And another unknown below... to the eye they are very white.

There is this crystalline like structure growing underneath a rock ledge. Any ideas?

First one looks like hydroids, second one is just a sponge.

Yeah? The second one is kinda spiky... doesn't look like a sponge yet (but it is in a cryptic area).

I’d second this - The first pic isn’t very clear, but I’d guess hydroids (possibly digitate hydroids) from what I can see. The second pic is definitely a sponge.

Sponges come in all sizes and shapes. I have one that looks like a zerg hivemind.
