A white spot

I'm not going to stop going there just because his boss is hog tying him. There are ways around buying a fish out of their tanks. For example, I can order a fish and pick it up when it comes in. I can be there when the boxes get opened. If it looks good I take him straight home. I'm a stay at home mom so I have the ability to do that. There are tons of stores around here, but I don't have a report with them, I can't haggle with them effectively. This is way off topic really.

I'm really excited to see what happens with the kanaplex in the food. I hope to see some improvement next Friday when I go back for more water.

After much arguing and a lot of hardheadedness... I think I won. He's concerned because Seachem told him he couldn't mix ANY medications with their product. I told him he's feeding kanaplex not mixing it into the water. So an hour of "debating" between two hardheaded people and I think I won. He's going to feed the kanaplex to a small sampling of the sick fish and "see if they all die" - his words. To be fair he's doing it against strict instructions from the GM to do nothing, so I give him props for at least trying it on a few of them. I hope it works.

Q: Can KanaPlex be used at the same time in the same tank with Cupramine?

A: Although it is not recommended to mix medications, it is generally safe to use these two products in conjunction with one another as long as you have a well established biological filter. If you notice a white cloudy haze to the aquarium (bacteria bloom), I would recommend you add a power head or air stone to the aquarium to give your biological filter the oxygen it needs to colonize your aquarium. Generally, this is only noticed in an aquarium with a poorly established biological filter.

He can dose Kanaplex in conjunction with Cupramine, or use a binder (such as Seachem Focus) to soak food with Kanaplex. The latter is even "reef safe" (minus the Cupramine, of course) if done properly.

Thank you!

I'll make sure to remind him of that.... assuming he already knew, but forgot lessens the blow of me being right and him being stubborn. lol
