March marks the year of my new build and I haven’t changed the water once. I went from a 29gal bio cube to a 75 and wanted to keep things “dirty” to quit having to dose nitrates etc for color. Just wondering if there are other success or failures with this type of approach

Definitely. And no water change tanks don't necessarily mean dirty. Mine runs at zero NO3 and PO4 unless I supplement. I went about 14 months with only one small water change (due to chemicleaning) with great results.

Dosing two part and weekly strontium and molybdenum, aminos, mag and have my feeder three times a day with the apex crossover.
Do you test strontium via testkit? Do any ICP testing for molybdenum dosing, and obviously everything else? Thanks for sharing!

Edit: Which two part are you dosing? Sorry if I missed it somewhere.

this is great!

would you mind elaborating on your maintenance schedule??

I want what this guy is having. No water changes? Sign me up lol.

Looks like Kalk+2 only has Calcium, Magnesium and Strontium so not sure how that replenishes your trace elements.

I’m running TLF reborn media in my calcium reactor too and feed heavily which are trace sources. Coral growth and coloration is good and while I’ve weighed testing my actual trace levels, I’m not seeing much of a reason to do so.

Interesting! Have you done any ICP tests by chance to see how trace levels are tracking using the reborn?

I haven’t done an ICP test so I couldn’t say for sure on my system. I did find this which is interesting and makes me want to test trace supplementation to see if things could be any better.

Thanks for sharing! This looks like a promising option.

Just BRS two part. I did an ICP a few months ago and everything was spot on.
