I am getting close to putting the system together with an Apex. I can get a Pro at a discount but want to know if the extra interfaces actually get me anything, especially once I look to grow in the future. For reference, I will buy the FMM if I buy the standard, so that will make the difference about $150.
My build will include 2xSky's, a GRO, an MP40 (so an MXM module), and a generic DC pump. I plan to eventually add a DOS system or two, as my end goal is to run a Triton system. A trident and salinity module may be in the future as well.
I see most of those should be able to be handled by the Apex Standard and the EB83 that it comes with, but I do not want to be penny wise, pound foolish if I will eventually make use of the extra input/outputs that come with the Pro. I will also accept arguments for the value of ORP.
