Hello everyone first post here. I have a reefer 170 with an A360WE over it now. I have it running at 60% intensity. Lighting looks good but I can't help but wonder if another A360 would help with shadowing. The tank is 24inches long would 2 360s be a wast of money/over kill?

I think it’s ok either way. Some, including me, use one per foot to reduce shading. Not necessary, but still reasonable. I personally agree with Jason and crabs though that your system looks great as is.

I think so. It looks good with one :) are you having issues with coral that you're considering two?

I only have 2 sps at the top but one them seems to have some shading and it is paler in those areas. I also have a maxima clam that seems like it could use more light. That was a little older pic of the tank. Here it is now.

Obviously it’s your call. You could place sps and clam in a spot where shading is minimized.
