Sorry for posting so many lighting and n00b questions. I've had my T5 fixture for a few days and every time I look at my tank with LEDs I get kinda sad... I think I made a bad decision and want to go back to LEDs. I found a deal on 3 A360N's for a good price and I want to hop on it while I can still return my T5 fixture.
My question is, would 3 A360N's be good for LPS and softies without a crazy amount of shadowing?
The tank is 60"x22"x22". The lights will be mounted about 10" from the top of the tank, so 32" height. From what I read they provide an 18" spread at 24" depth. When mounted at the height I specified, that would be exactly at the top of most of my rockwork (and a higher peak would be directly under the third bulb). That would provide a total of 54" illumination at that exact depth (my rocks are in a line), which would technically be perfect since my rockwork sits a few inches from the glass. If I ever want to try to go SPS I would be happy picking up a 4th fixture, which then I believe would provide great coverage.
