I've been trying to find this on the Web with no luck, so can anyone tell me the difference between the Kessil A360W and the A350W? I know the 350 is the older model, but what is different with the A360?

Also, I think the "W" designation means wide angle, but what does the "WE" designation denote?

Thanks and sorry for such a newb question.

The major difference is in what Kessil calls Kessil Logic. With the 350, the adjustments were the blue and white spectrum, individually. As such, changing the color could also greatly impact the intensity. With the 360, the adjustments are spectrum and intensity. So in theory you could have a full blue light without completely losing the intensity as you would with the 350.

According to Kessil:

The A360 features Kessil's new proprietary Kessil Logic™, a unique form of spectral intelligence developed for precise color blending and optimal coral growth. In this new design, instead of varying the light intensity of two different channels to find the desired color and intensity mix, users can select the perfect spectrum and color with one knob and then adjust the intensity with the other. Kessil Logic™ will not only dramatically improve the user experience, it will also boost the light output at both ends of the spectral tuning range by as much as 30%.

So, I've also read that the Kessil lights cannot be sufficiently dimmed to simulate low light conditions (like moonlight) due to flickering. Has this issue been resolved with the new control logic?

You definitely can not do moonlight with the 350 or 360. The lowest setting is far too bright for moonlight simulation. I've never noticed flickering, but it's not an appropriate brightness for moonlight.

Please be patient. I'm getting back into the hobby after a ten year hiatus.
Nah. You are required to be an expert in all immediately :)

LSM- lunar simulation module aka moonlights.

Some people have made moonlighting that fits around the Kessil.

The 350 can dim down far more than the 360. I was able to do a moonlight with my 350N.... not sure if it's the same for the 350W.
