A360x or AP700????

I have a T5 hybrid fixture and I am trying to decide if I should use 4 A360x LEDs or two AP700s. thoughts? I have a 180 gallon tank 72x24x24.

I would go with the 4 A360x for the lone reason of being able to spread them out more. Although I know at 18" the AP700 can cover up to 48". Unfortunately I have no personal experience with either

I have 2 ap700 over my 4 foot tank. I did this before the 360x came out because you got more diodes thus more light power in the 2 700s verses the old 360s. I believe they are the same now. Now it's a matter of price and the amount of cords you want manage. Ap700 is 100$ cheaper per unit and you'd only have 2 cords verses the 4.

I agree, get the 360x's. I have two ap700's (I love 'em) but I hate the app/software that runs them. I like the idea of being able to angle them a little or moving them around, if desired. At the moment, I'm thinking of selling both 700's and getting 360x's (possibly 5). I might install some 80/20 in the canopy to hang them from so I can move them as I please or as coral grows. I wish they were $50 cheaper, but what can you do?

I have the AP700 over a 36" wide tank, and love the look of it. The software app is still pretty bad, and I think is a big negative. I would vote for 4x360s as you can space them out as you like and control them independently.
