I am installing 2 A360X lights over my 65 gallon tank 3ft long. it does have a center brace on the tank. Just trying to figure out if i should evenly space the lights at 12" apart or think of it as 2 18" sections of aquarium and space in the center of the 18" section. lights will be about 6" off top of tank under a hood. Thanks for any feed back.

The lenses are wider than its predecessor the WE, but what I'd do is center each light on each side of the brace. So say the brace is in the center at 18 inches in, I'd put each light 9"in from the sides. :)

BTW, once you set them up, can you tell me if they maintain the same color as they dim up and down. My two do not. Each one will handle 18” without problem until/if you get large coral colonies. Then, being a point source, shading will become an issue.

So how’s it look? I’m thinking about these lights for my 65 too. Do you have any pictures or videos you could share?

looks good. just slowly ramping up the lights. i'll try to take a video later today.

I think the lights look very good. running them at 70% intensity and 65%color in mid day. much more color coming out of the corals. like the shimmer too. cant seem to upload video.
