anyone using seachem fuel. If not what do you use and how's the success.

While I do not use it, I'd note that Aquavitro Fuel has a lot more than amino acids in it, so the effects may be from multiple, possibly useful, chemicals. :)

In the 35+ years that I've been in this hobby I have used much of any AA out there, even my big thread about the Acropower on here didn't shed much light if AA are really necessary or not.
I'm a BIG believer in using quality fish food for my 5K+ of fish (not the dry food) and mixing in some extra vitamins/Selcon will have a result in quality PooP which in return will feed your corals all they ever need.

I agree with this. I have used fuel in the past and can't really say it made too much of a difference. I'm a firm believer in keeping things simple. By this I mean stable parameters, regular water changes and not dosing every product out there. I did not experience it, but have seen many threads attributing cyano to products like fuel, acropower and other AA related supplements. My thought is overdosing but that's just my thought.

I've used Fuel and a couple others on the show tank at work. I use them for the experience and so I can say "yay" or "nay" to customers who ask about the product. I haven't seen more than better polyp extension with any of them and in some no difference at all. The tank looks and does better when I'm able to do regular weekly water changes. Simple. Easy.

As mentioned above. Old school was reduce your nutrients as low as you can. Feed good food, and the poop will feed the corals. In many cases this is correct. The problem I have (and many others) is in our efforts to reduce po4 to my sps target level of .02-.04 (hannah); our no3 goes to zero. Redfield ratio says more no3 gets consumed than po4. When we add food, we end up adding po4 along with no3. The no3 gets consumed quickly but the po4 rises. Hence fish poop has more po4 than no3, and algae including corals consume or need more no3. Zero no3 is my problem, and I want to increase no3 without increasing po4. Here is were a good amino has been the perfect solution for me. It adds no3 without po4. Corals show a feeding response in 20 minutes (so long as your no3 is almost zero.) Research shows the symbionic algae or dynofla,, is made up of significant amounts of aspartic acid and can absorb it from the water column quickly. They use less energy absorbing aminos than just taking no3 and po4 from the water and then making it an amino. So as Randy mentioned------read the label. Are you adding a pure amino which is only a no3. Or a mixed all in one product which has both. Also check label for concentration. That is how many ml/100gl does it take or is the suggested dose. Some call for drops others cups hence excess water? So ME amino has been working for me because I have almost zero nitrates. For those with similar no3 po4 issues an amino works. If you have elevated no3 and po4 and amino or similar type product is added, it might just raise those levels causing algae blooms.

I think acro power has PO4 on it. I decide to switch to another AA products once in while, it makes everything happy including me. ;)

Yes it had a bad effect on my tanks at the time when i was running all my tanks with very low nutrient levels . I get a white film everywere and my p04 would skyrocket. @marke not sure if your amino acid product is out for sale yet but ive ben using it for 2 weeks nd imo its freakin awesome, also love how you list the ingredients. Ben enjoying it so far, i never was a fan of motions and potions but im using it in a frag tank with 4 small fish in it. Its acually showing better color + thicker polyps on my zoas and lps. Like i said im not sure if you released it yet as i got a big cup of it from a friend lol but hopefully soon as i will deffinitly continue to use it
