Hey everyone its time again for a new upgrade! That's right ill be upgrading from my 80 rimless to a 180 gallon tank (my very first large tank and hopefully my last lol). I will be buying a pre-drilled tank or if I end up going non drilled i will be adding a snyergy reef overflow most likely.
With that all being said i will be using a 5 foot sump i just picked up along with no fuge in the sump. Trying something new for once in this build.
Bringing over my tunze skimmer and mag drive return. Will most likely use this open space for frags or reactors in the sump. I will be doing a DSB on this build as well.
Lighting i am still unsure of as i have a 6 bulb 48" t5 which is not long enough for this new tank i have had LEDs in the past with bad results (AI sol, radion gen 3). My one friend has kessils over his 180 and the tank is doing amazing. If anyone can chime in on this that would be awesome.
