Has anyone ever conducted a comparative analysis between ecotech AB+ spectrum vs the kessil logic spectrum? Meaning, is there data that exists to show if one of these spectrums if better at growing coral at a faster rate, all other things equal? If the spectral range was imposed on the others, which is wider? I’m very curious about this and I’m sure it could probably help reefers in purchasing the right light in a future purchase.

If I remember correctly, from the BRS videos, the kessils have the widest blue spectrum peak area.

If you want to match or get close to the look of ab+, then the following settings are pretty close.
Color 25-40%, violet 100%, red & green 5-10% For me, 25% - 35% color and violet 100% with no R&G worked well. But this was my preference. Running color around 35% to 40% gave me a little more blue and purple in acropora.

Right. I’m not interested in how to match the spectrum really. I’m more interested in their similarities and their comparative ability to grow coral at rapid rates.

The settings I listed above did well for me. Everything grew at a pretty good rate. In fact, some of my stags were about to grow out of the water and they were growing from the sand bed 15" deep. I'll try to find some pics to show progression?
