? About my clowns

I just introduced 2 new clowns in a tank they are my first fish.

When I have my light off and I see my clowns floating around the top or on the glass are they already dying or is that how they sleep/rest? They are not used to powerheads so what should I do?

I have had more than a couple do this. Scary at first but they should be fine. Just leave them be and they will be ok.

Okay.. Sorry my first fish haha.. Only thing is my ph is 8.03 at the lowest and 8.15 at the highest

Thats how they sleep sometimes bunch of mine do that.

Mine always hang out at the top, especially at night. They too were my first fish, had them around three months now and they've always hung there at the top near the overflow!

clownfish are known for their strange behaviors, this being one of them, basically they are "hosting" an empty space in your tank lol funny little clowns do it in my tank too

I agree with juggalogentry. Basically they are sleeping in this space. They will do so until they either have something to host it become more comfortable in your tank, claiming a territory.

Mine sleep together on the sand bed at first. They are funny fish.

2 of Mine sleep at the top on their sides actually. Before I got them I read someone said theirs were sleeping belly up, I think clownfish are just funny sleepers

Bubble tips seem to be very popular and do well. Depending on your tank size you could do different species.

That's a hot topic on the forums. Some people feed and some don't, as the anemone is used light like corals.

I'm running radion xr30w pro with 20k all blues from 8am-11am and full spectrum 11am-2pm and back to 20k all blues 2-7pm
