So, thursday my new hopefully this time unbroken bulbs will be delivered. I am switching them out for some deep blue bulbs that are in
my solarmax fixture currently. The bulbs I have coming are Geismann-Midday sun Geismann-aquapink Geismann-pure actinic ATI-True Actinic
ATI purple plus. The fixture is a 4bulb fixture, so I figured I'd have an extra bulb laying around for color mixing. My original plan was to have the Midday/pink on one set of ballasts, and the true actinic and purple plus on the other set of ballasts. With the actinic/purp combo coming on around 830am-730pm and the Mid/pink combo coming on at 945am-645pm. Does this seem like a good combo, or should I replace the midday sun bulb with the extra actinic I have? Also, should I worry about acclimating the corals to the new light source, or do you think it'll
be ok? I was thinking of shortening my light cycle by a few hours, and slowly building it back to my normal timing. Thanks in advance.
