Had hoped to pick up my first coral two days ago, but I was cautioned to wait for nitrites to go down to zero first. A bit bummed, but patience will probably pay off.

My guess about nitrites is that I am feeding too much. Gomez the Goby hides during normal feeding times and only eats with moon lighting. So, like a sucker, I feed him then. Shirley the Wrasse will NOT eat unless the lights are on. So, "lots" of food. George eats at all hours. Birdie only eats algae and sucks on sand.

I added a Random Flow Generator from @Vivid Creative Aquatics . It is very cool and definitely generating random flow. I also added some live reef rubble from @AquaBiomics . We'll see what the rubble does for my biome and my water parameters.

I need to update pictures!

Gomez the Goby is spending way more time at the entrance to his burrow. Everything is going okay.

Maybe a rock flower anemone and definitely a couple more zoanthids planned for purchase on Labor Day.

I will try to use less epoxy on the next corals.

Why is epoxy so stinky?

Added another zoa, a RFA, and a hammer today. I need to take a decent picture once the sun starts setting earlier.
