Hey everyone! I have searched all over this forum and can not seem to find an answer. I recently ordered a sheet of textured ABS off amazon for use in a bare bottom system I am building. When the sheet arrived I flipped it over and noticed a warning for Prop CA 65. I did not notice the warning when I ordered it but I am curious if this is something I should be concerned about or is it just one of those weird everything causes cancer in California things...

My question is before I go siliconing the sheet down is this safe to use or should I move on and just get marine grade starboard?

It's fine. I used sheet ABS plastic to make overflow covers years ago.

It's probably the fact that ABS stands for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene plastic. Stupid law probably flagged it for one of those components even though the finished polymer is nothing like the raw material constituents.

Thanks! I was thinking ABS should have zero issues but wanted to make sure.
