ABS vs. Schedule 80 Bulkheads

I watched Bill Wann’s MACNA talk on plumbing and he feels that the standard ABS plastic bulkheads are not strong enough. Instead, he recommends schedule 80 pvc bulkheads.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Are the standard bulkheads really not be trusted?

Completely agree. They are much much stronger. Just dont over tighten them or youll.crack the glass!
