Absolute CHEAPEST wavemaker

I'm looking for a wave maker thats small and cheap. Any ideas what there is

There are lots of cheap gyres. Save your money since you could be replacing them soon... you cannot afford to be cheap with this stuff.

I can and I will lol. No in all seriousness I'm looking for cheap. I'm not worried about replacing it but I don't have enough to drop 200 like that

Buy used.

Best bang for your buck is a jebao powerhead.

The gyres are not strong enough through my experience and they are much more expensive.

If you want to go cheap, jebao. They will eventually break and after 2-3 replacements you should really look into the ice-cap gyres. I have original 3k in my tank since 2017, still purring.

As always, see if you can find some higher quality used stuff. Takes some work, but worth it.

2 for 16 or one for 10$, I used them starting out , they work well

And aquamai kps wave maker is a lot better if you want to spend more , it has different presets for lagoon, sps, lps, softies , night time ect depending on hour of day

I got some hygger in Amazon. Use for my 32 gallon. Plenty of presets and can adjust flow. They’ve worked great so far for 7 months. Can’t point them up though. Might get something better if I could do it over but they were $60 or $70. For the price I’m happy

Jebaos are my go to. Have 2 currently a pp4 and a sow8. Both are still going strong after 4+ years.

If you're looking for as cheap as possible then gyres are not the way to go. If you are determined to get gyre then jebao is the cheapest that I know of. I have two jebao gyres in my tank and they've been running flawlessly for about 2 years now.

I use jebao gyres as well. Never had an issue. Of course I have had very few issues with any of my jebao wavemakers over the years

Jebao get a bad rap but they're great when you're in a financial pinch! Most of my equipment is Jebao and considering their cost they've been great.
