The LCD display on my Abyzz A400 is starting to fade, or wash out, to the point where it is hard to read. Are there any other Abyzz owners out there with a similar issue? Pump has been rock solid for 2+ years, and I have contacted Abyzz about this, but I am wondering if this is common, or rare?

Your the first post that I've seen.

We'll bump you up for more feedback from others.

I'm thinking about the A100

Would you buy your 200 again?
Top of the line, been using mine for roughly 6 months, and had an issue when i first got it and no questions asked they sent me a replacement!! I'd buy 10x just based on their customer service!

Also the issue I had was the pump was an original from Germany and kept tripping my GFCI, the American models have a shorter power cord, and arn't as sensitive as the German model.

Are the users of the Abyzz pumps with display issues laying the controller down on a flat surface or wall mounted?
If you have it on a flat surface horizontally then that’s the reason the display may be fading.

I got the A100 and don't have issue with the display. But recently has issue with the impeller. I send it back to Coralvue and Chris Conti (VP of sale) and his team took care of me right away.

Sorry, I should have responded with what I did. The folks at BRS hooked me up with the folks at CoralVue, who then pointed me to the contrast controls on the display menu. Not sure why it needed to be adjusted over time, but I was able to adjust the contrast so that the display looks ok again.

And yes ,mine is laying flat, could that cause the contrast to change over time?

Not sure but the heat of the controller should not be going upwards towards the display but it should be going up through the heat sink. That’s the way it would function if mounted correctly.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
