Abyzz connection

I just received my Abyzz A200 pump and am wondering about the outlet connection. Of the two plastic rings that came with the pump, the smaller one does not fit snugly to the output of the pump. I don't want to glue this if it will not cement correctly. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of connection?

Do you have a picture just to be clear?

I have 2 a200’s and the output needs solvent welding to whatever return pipe your using

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Here is a picture of the pump. I believe this is the same as you have posted.

What did you end up doing?

I have a A200 on the way and wondering if I need to glue the adapter to the pump volume.

I solvent welded the two parts together. If you ever need to change the size of the output, a new volute cover is only $25.00
