What are people using for Abyzz intake screens?

An Abyzz pump costs more than my entire setup and they don't have an intake screen of some sort?
They do not, but with the way the impeller is designed there’s not really a need for one. My A400 pictured when I got it last year.

they make one but its on back order. I'd prefer to have something there, although i can see how it may not be needed. I just don't any inlet uncovered, murphy's law and all.

the pump is not threaded.. but I run mine external so it plumbed into a threaded bulkhead. I couldn't find a slip on on Amazon. BRS has them 2" Slip Bulkhead Strainer - Lifegard. You would need to use the metric to US conversion.
