Apex guys? I'm sure you can control on and off, but speed? Not sure.

ok thanks but a $184 cable what's it made out of gold:)
Most likely actually lol

I’m not sure about the module. I just saw this cable earlier on brs; figured I’d chime in when I saw your post lol.

I have the A200 and apex. You can shut it off and on (obviously) but not control the speed from the apex.

You can control the speed with any controller that sends 0-10V signal, that includes apex.

You just need to buy the abyzz interface cable (not cheap) that plugs between pump controller and your aquarium controller.

My bad I thought he meant out of the box. I didn't read the comments below!

My guess is that the old controller is controlled with 4-20mA signal and the expensive accessory converts 0-10V into that but that's just my guess - to be explored soon.

New controller coming out soon will be apex ready IOTA.

Well, now that I bought the deeply discounted A200, that is bound to be the case. I'm fine either way - in time I'll find a solution to marry the GHL with it.

Its 2021 and I just bought a pair of A200's for my new 375g setup. Does anyone know if I really need this kit or can I just now use a simple cable with DB9 serial on one side and RJ45 on the other? I assume this adapter module was some sort of transformer to convert voltage but wondering if thats still necessary

Which A200s did you get? There are two models.
