Acan Colony Polyp Extention

Have you ever checked on your acan colony in the dark? Is this normal? I recently moved the colony a bit higher in the tank. I have had it for about 6 months and have never noticed the polyp extension until this week and it is only after lights out.

Yeah it’s normal for them. Most of mine stay very close to skeleton and are puffy but one likes to extend 1-2” and puffy.

Thanks all, I was blown away when I found her like that. Never a dull day in reefing just when you think you know everything about your corals they teach you that you know nothing at all.
